I conceived, styled and shot this campaign for GQ.CO.ZA for the Royal Navy installation of MCQP at the end of 2014. I created a gallery of images on the website to inspire thoughts around the party and get readers to submit costume ideas with the incentive that the best ideas would be rewarded with VIP tickets to the party and have their idea interpreted by GQ and transformed into a photo on the website. The below gallery represents the ideas I liked the most. In the next phase of the campaign readers were asked to vote for and share their favourite image from the gallery. The reader who produced the most votes, likes and shares would win VIP tickets and a private booth for 10, while runner ups would also win VIP double tickets. The person whose idea the winning photo was based on would also win an additional, prize granting free costume hire for them and a friend from the city’s most prestigious wardrobe and costume hire company.
